[HAM] Modified Leslie 145JohnC john at johncornicello.comTue Nov 11 13:53:47 CST 2003
Hi Scott. Good to hear from you. I just got the box this morning. Haven't taken the amp out yet or opened it up to see what's inside. I'd like to use this Leslie with a Roland VK8 that has an 11-pin Leslie connector on it. I was looking around the web and found a "1147" connector kit at Goff that seems like it would fill the job (Connects Hammond XB-2 Keyboard or other 11-Pin Hammond Organ models to a Series 147 Leslie. (147, 147A, 147RV, 145, 247RV) for $219. Curious to see if I could just unhook the power cable from the Leslie, take the shrink tube off the Leslie's connector, and have a go.
