You can use a 16 ohm PM speaker, with a small alteration to the amplifier.......actually, if you want do it just clap a 16 ohm woofer in there, and it *will* work, but better with amplifier mod,(per Bob Schleicher). M Fulkenheimer From: RELAWV at aol.com To: hammond at zeni.net Sent: Thursday, November 13, 2003 4:27 PM Subject: [HAM] I need I need an original speaker for a Leslie 21H ...not permanent magnet, etc... to put in order a 21H that I have, that I want to match sound-wise to another 21H that I have. The speaker can be dead or alive, it doesn't matter. I'll have it re-worked... cone, fabric, etc. if I need to. I'd like to not have to have the coil re-wound however. If somebody has one sitting around, please let me know. Also, if you know of a source for such a speaker, please let me know that, too. The guy that I bought the cabinet from neglected to tell me that he had changed the speaker out with a perm. magnet, 8 ohm, ...AND it sounds awful to boot! Any help is appreciated.
