Just tried one of my 200A s through the 900 Watts PA (Mackie mixer and
2 SRM450). A little reveb and a hint of vibrato -- sounds wonderful.
The Wurlitzer produces a rich enough tone of its own, and does not
necessarily need to go through a tube amp. The instrument is also very
playable. The feel of the keyboard is excellent. Pop music now and for
decades has well featured the merits of this instrument. The Doors,
Cat Stevens, Supertram, Natalie Merchant, REM, etc. The instrument
also will only consume about 4 cubic feet of storage for each indulgence
of one's acquisition obsessive disorder.
