[HAM] M3 expression pedalRob &/or Donna Bernhardt boogi4444 at hotmail.comThu Nov 20 01:21:52 CST 2003
Greetings Hammond people! Doin' some between-gigs TLC to my beloved M3. Lately, the expression pedal has developed a spot (fortunately, at or near the top of its travel) where the volume drops off to about 10% of what it normally is at that point. Press it down further, or mat it (as usual), and it performs perfectly. Naturally, I'd love to clear this up before it gets worse. The pedal itself and the articulated, sprung, connecting rods are OK. Took the lid off the box on top of the amp that houses the mechanical goodies (?!-kinda reminds me of an old radio tuner's innards). Is there anything in there that could use contact spray or adjusting? There are a pair of wires (yellow and green) going from that stuff, down into the amp, and something else that I can't see properly, extending down as well. Maybe I'm just asking for encouragement to loosen off the amp from the floor, turn it over, and try to figure something out. Any advice at this point would be greatly appreciated. Sincere regards, Rob _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses.
