[HAM] Re-cap a BV pre?

Thanks Christoph and Magnus! I see what you mean about it 
being a pre-amp and thus having negligable current change with
increasing volume. Got it! I know a heck of a lot more about
transistors and integrated stuff than tubes!! 

I don't have anything on top or near it at all, so it's got to be 
something like bad grounds. Some of the connections did look
a little corroded and some of the wire looks well past its best.
I'll open her up at the weekend and take a looksee. I have a 
nice oscilloscope that will be able to help me in my quest.

Let you know how I get on. I'm definately going to re-cap the
preamp when Paul and I get them.
