I would the say the purchase was worth it - if only based on the fact
that you can't really buy very much for $35!

I've been dragging a Wurly around instead of a Rhodes lately. Much
lighter. Doesn't have the bite of a Rhodes - but it does have a much
nicer and more consistent action (although I must admit that the Wurly I
have is really mint - was bought from a recording studio).

Have fun with the new acquisition!

1. I am guessing that the vibrato will be a snap to fix; is this

correct?

2. Was the purchase worth it?..........I have seen and heard them in Rock

Roll bands, and I think that they sound positively cheesy.

3. If I buy the schematic and parts, I will have $80.00
recover my
investment?
Yo, kip, drop me a line, I have an entire set (+/-) of tines for my
wurli
200. I may be able to make a deal, if I have what you need. And I think
that
guy wants 15-20$ for the tines, which is ridiculous.

Yo,
Do any of you guys have any experience dealing with Vintage Vibe.
I've
emailed the guy 4 times, got one reply, and still can't buy two
lousy
Wurlitzer tines off of him. Is it me? Do I need a shower or
something?
